☞ The mission of the San Benito Agricultural Land Trust (SBALT) is to conserve regionally significant lands that sustain productive agriculture, preserve open space and maintain the rural character of the county.

☞ SBALT creates partnerships with landowners, called conservation easements, that provide economic benefits to farm and ranch owners while permanently protecting land from development.  6,700 acres are currently in conservation partnerships - and counting:

In August SBALT permanently protected 27 acres of prime soils at Phil Foster Ranch in San Juan Bautista!!  This is the popular local farm that San Benito residents know as Pinnacle Organically Grown.  It has been an honor to work with Phil and Katherine Foster to build this new conservation partnership, and we are already working to protect the remaining 24 acres of Phil Foster Ranch.

☞  Help us double your contribution by donating to the San Benito Agricultural Land Trust through San Benito GIVES, September 1 -10, 2019. Support the protection of local agriculture, San Benito County's #1 economy, and the open space beauty that surrounds us.

YOUR GENEROUS DONATION TO SBALT WILL DIRECTLY SUPPORT FURTHER LAND PROTECTION
