San Benito Stage Co

With passion and heart, the San Benito Stage Company provides performing arts experiences that enrich the lives of its members and patrons. By providing educational opportunities in acting, dance, voice and technical theatre, SBSC promotes theatre arts and community involvement through the challenge of creating theatrical productions. 

SBSC's reputation for excellence has spread, attracting performers and audience members from beyond the San Benito County line, which is an asset to the local economy and tourism. 

For most participants, the cast and crew become a treasured second family, especially to the average 80-110 youth we impact annually. This summer we produced our Second Annual Summer Theatre Camp with over 125 youth campers joining us! 

San Benito Stage Company offers three scholarships to graduating high school seniors through our Alumni Scholarship program. They also offer participation scholarships to cast members of each production as needed. 

SBSC also collaborates with other non-profits in fundraising, venue and materials sharing. They recycle sets, costumes and props for use in future productions to help offset the expensive costs of producing live stage performances.
