To reduce preventable disease and hospitalizations in our community, VNA will provide adult immunizations, at no cost, to those without access to healthcare.

A roadmap to better population health management through improved adult immunization.  Every year in San Benito County, we have hundreds of outpatient illnesses related to vaccine-preventable disease.  Many segments of our population do not have access to immunizations due to immobility and/or lack of healthcare coverage.   VNA will utilize the funds raised by San Benito Gives to provide adult vaccinations to those unable to access them.   With this initiative, we will enhance the health of our community and reduce unwanted and unnecessary illnesses and hospitalizations related to the lack of vaccination.  Vaccines are one of Public Health’s great triumphs. Except for safe water, no other health strategy has had such a tremendous effect on reducing disease and improving health.

VNA's professional, experienced, bi-lingual, Registered Nurses assess individual immunization needs and provide recommended vaccines to prevent disease and keep the public healthy.   As the only international travel health clinic, VNA offers immunizations and consultations to prepare travelers of all ages.
