CASA of San Benito County

CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, serves foster children ages 0 to 21 from San Benito County. These are the children who have been abused, abandoned, and neglected. 

The program recruits and trains volunteers to become advocates for foster children when appointed by the court, giving the children a consistent, responsible adult to advocate on their behalf in the courtroom, class room, and community.

Advocates directly impact foster children’s success in life by engaging them in positive relationships, addressing their academic achievement as well as their physical and social emotional well-being, and increasing their life skills to reach their full potential,
